For the most committed and dedicated athletes. Players are asked to attend all team functions, practices, games, and events.
● Schedule
Teams practice 2 times a week and play in JR house matches, local leagues, and local and travel tournaments.
● Make-Up Class
Make-up sessions are not possible for absences due to personal reasons. However, if the coach deems it necessary, the player may be invited to practice in a private session or with another team.
● Playing Time
Playing time is earned through active participation in games and a thorough understanding of the team’s strategies on both offense and defense. While we strive to provide fair opportunities, we cannot guarantee equal playing time for all players. Playing time is in one factor skill related but having additional minutes is reliant on being focus orientated. All players have the opportunity to earn their minutes without bias based on the degree of if they know the team concept and execute it accordingly, as well as by showing commitment to the team.
● Multiple Club Basketball Players
At JR Elite, we are deeply invested in our athletes’ growth, both as individuals and athletes. Therefore, in fairness to all athletes, our coaches, and our commitment to our players, as well as for scheduling reasons, we allow athletes to participate in multiple sports but DO NOT PERMIT them to play for multiple club basketball teams. If discovered, the player will be expelled from the team, and all previously paid fees are non-refundable.
● Uniform
For the upcoming fall season, we will distribute jerseys and shorts after receiving a $120 deposit before the first tournament. When leaving the JR Elite team, you may return the uniform for a $100 refund. If an exchange is necessary due to sizing issues, a $20 fee will apply. Additional items like shooting shirts, hoodies, and backpacks can be freely ordered from the website.
● Refunds
*Please Note* Due to advance monetary commitments for league and tournament play, no refunds will be given for rep team players. The only exception will be for a verified medical reason with if that player’s spot can then be filled on the roster at a pro-rated amount by another player designated by the coach to be a rep-caliber player.
